Urban Design Life is the blog following the design/renovation adventures of me (and my boyfriend).
I am a very handy electrical engineer living in a rental in Vancouver. I have worked in construction and renovation which included gutting a basement, framing, installing in-floor heating, re-wiring the house, concrete framing the foundation of a detached garage, dry-walling and of course… painting.
I have a PFAFF sewing machine and I do most of my own sewing. Although since I’ve been in the apartment I haven’t done much of (I hope to do more in 2010 in my design projects).
I shall attempt to blog everyday for 2010 about the various projects I’ve undertaken. I’ll also show you tips/tricks I’ve found along the way to make your own design life simpler and your rental life much more serene.
